Stamping at the City Crafters Challenge Blog

I have had this stamp for a long time and never used it because it is so big. For this weeks challenge I finally stamped the image on a square card, covering almost all of it.

Christmas at the Play Date Café

The colours at the Play Date Café this week inspired me to create a bookmark.

I embossed the image (Unity) and just distressed the edges of the tag a bit. The background stamp is an older ANM called *Splatter Pattern*, the words are (I think) Paper Artsy. I also used the Martha Stewart binding edge punch

Colour Splash

A friend asked me to create an Anniversary card for her upcoming 19th anniversary. She wanted a card a bit out of the ordinary.

This weeks challenge at the Play Date Café came just in time for my *gloomy* card.  I hope she'll like it ..... and I just know they really love each  other ..... still.

The beautiful pin is again from my dear Blog buddy June!

Craft Cardstock

For this weeks challenge at the City Crafters Challenge Blog we were asked to use Craft Cardstock. This is my creation:

The image is Graphics45 again, the little tag I cut with the Cricut, the ornaments are stamped and heat embossed, then cut with Spellbinders. I tied them all on a linen thread by SU. I also added red string and 3 half pearls. Some snowflakes and faux stitches completed my card

Colour Challenge #59 at the Pay Date Café

I had to think about this combination for a moment, not my colours at all. But well, I came up with something.

I stamped and heat embossed a piece of turquoise CS, cut the small ornaments with Spellbinders and tied them on a linen thread from Stampin' Up. The image you all know, it's last years Santa Claus designed by Tim Holtz, I still love it.
... and I just had to add that tiny safety pin, isn't it something?

The BG is embossed with a Sizzix Folder *Thin Ice*

Thanks ladies at the Play Date Café for putting my mind at work *grin*

CCCB #34 *Snowflakes*

It is snowing again and also the challenge at CCCB is about Snow. Snowflakes, snowmen, ice crystals etc.

Good for me, so I can use my Martha Stewart punch *Around the corner punch* again. When, if not now?

*COWS* for ATC-Quarterly

This is my creation for the latest issue of ATC-Quarterly

What a fun challenge Ronna came up with!

Candles for the Dining room table

Since we do not want to watch our candles all the time and some accidents have happened in the past, I decided to go for the small candles in the metal container.

I bought 2 high stem glasses and decorated them with some ribbon, buxus and gem stones.

A *manly* Christmas Card

I needed a Christmas card for a guy. I used the TH Bingo texture fades, Ten Second Studio metal foil, some images from Graphics45 (What else?) a ticket from TH and the sentiment is by Waltzing Mouse Stamps.

Colour Challenge #58 at the Pay Date Café

Easy Peasy? No, not this time. The colours are just Red and White. I found it difficult to come up with something spectacular.

Well, this is it for this weeks challenge at the Play Date Café:

I embossed all the images, most of them from Waltzing Mouse again and goofed just a tad by adding the golden tag ;)

Colour Challenge #57 at the Play Date Café

The colours for this weeks challenge at The Play Date Café are Brown, Grey and Silver. I embossed the Christmas Ornament and the sentiment with silver powder, I also distressed the edges of the grey strip and the star with it.

Unfortunately the camera doesn't pick it up, the light is too bad. It has been snowing all day long, I love it.

PITT PASTEL CHALK PENCILS

I was searching for chalkpencils for quite some time now. I found some from Cretacolor for a reasonable price but I would have had to take the whole lot of 36 pencils, approx. 10 colours I wouldn't  have any use for.

Since DH didn't have a present for my upcoming Birthday yet, we decided to shop yesterday and now look what I found.

A shop where I could get any colour out of a range of 60 and really buy only the colours I like and need.

I chose 25 of my favorites and now DH is kind of sad, as there is still no present for me, (I just bet there is something up his sleeve) at least not a surprise one, because I used the new goodies right away and I am so happy now. From now on even the tiniest little images can be coloured with chalk ... yummy!

Yep, that was a great deal!

Colour Challenge #56 at the Play Date Café

When I saw the challenge I wanted to give up right there. Red, Olive and Turquoise? No way! While doing housework and creating a wreath for Christmas an idea crept into my head, this is the result:

I just hope *Mother Nature* will forgive me the freedom of inserting a button as a center kiss into my poinsettia :)

The olive BG paper is embossed with one of the Tim Holtz fades, the image is Graphics45 (What else ... aargh) the poinsettia an older Bosskut die which I also embossed with clear powder.

Thanks Julie at the Play Date Café!

I used Ten Second Studio Metal foil, a Waltzing Mouse stamp and the folder used most often in my craft room: Swiss Dots and also Damask by Tim Holtz.

A Wedding card ...

For this weeks challenge at the Play Date Café I created a wedding card. The stamps are SU, for the wheels I adhered some buttons. The heart is cut with Spellbinders and I used Distress Stickles on the edge which I heated, makes them kind of bubble up. The gray dots are Liquid pearls. The ribbon is fixed through two holes in the card.

Colour Challenge #49 at the Pay Date Café

This terrible cold and fever must've burned up all my mojos. I tried my best, but I gather I should've stayed under the covers.

I used my Paperbag Studios stamp for the very first time for the challenge at the Play Date Café.
